The area is home to the Indian Leopard, along with Striped Hyenas, Blue Bulls (Nilgai), Jackals, Desert Foxes, Indian Crocodiles near Jawai Dam, and numerous resident and migratory bird species. Jawai is also known for the peaceful coexistence between the local Rabari community and wildlife, making it a unique destination for nature lovers, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts.

Detailed Itinerary


Day 01: Udaipur – Jawai


Our representative/driver will meet you at your desired location in Udaipur. Thereafter, proceed to Jawai (approximately 3–4 hours). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and take some time to relax and freshen up.


Later, proceed for an exciting Evening Leopard Safari in the Jawai region. Accompanied by an experienced safari guide and local tracker, explore the rugged granite hills while searching for the Indian Leopard in its natural habitat. During the safari, you may also encounter Striped Hyenas, Blue Bulls (Nilgai), Jackals, Desert Foxes, Indian Crocodiles near Jawai Dam, Peacocks, and a variety of resident and migratory bird species. After completing the safari, return to the hotel.

Day 02: Jawai – Udaipur


Early in the morning, proceed for another thrilling Leopard Safari in the Jawai region. Morning safaris provide an excellent opportunity to experience the landscape when wildlife is generally more active. Accompanied by your experienced safari guide and local tracker, continue exploring different parts of the granite hills while searching for wildlife and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings.


After completing the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, check out from the hotel and proceed back to Udaipur (approximately 3–4 hours). If time permits, you may visit RANAKPUR JAIN TEMPLE or enjoy scenic views around JAWAI DAM before continuing your journey. Upon arrival in Udaipur, you will be dropped off at your desired location.
